REQUIREMENTS:

• 18 to 30 years old
• Secondary education
• Enjoy taking care of Children but also working with them
• This entails genuine responsibilities; Have relevant and recent childcare experience.
• Have some basic French: A1 certificate (Level Up refers you to accredited institutions)
• Availability: at least 6-12 months. The longest you are available the easier it will be to match with Family’s needs.
• Clear medical and Criminal report
• Ready to live abroad and accept to get out of your usual ways of thinking and living.
• Willingness to invest yourself into the life of the family
• Children are the most precious things for a family, that’s why you have to be experienced, trustworthy, with good education. We trust you!

• Where could I be placed in France? We have families in all the country so we can place you everywhere! It will all depends on available families now. But the best cities to be placed are these following of Course, Paris (but France is not only Paris!) and other big towns like Lyon, Bordeaux, Marseille, and we do also have a lot of families near Annecy, near the Swiss Border. France is a small country, so you will be able to visit Paris and its museums during a week end, to go enjoying the sun in Nice and The Côte d’Azur and its Mediterranean sun, maybe a trip to Bordeaux…it will be easy and your family will also show you the best places around. Each corner of France has its own unique character: the rugged and outdoorsy French Alps, sun- drenched.
• Monthly public transportation for your mobility. If you need to drive for the kids, the family will pay the oil.
• Holidays: For a long placement, you will have at least three paid holidays’ vacation weeks. Of course, meals and accommodation with your own and comfortable bedroom. We will put you in touch with some of our other lovely au pairs already in France.
• 7/7 agency assistance in France.

What will be my duties, as an Au Pair?

• Prepare your host kids for school.
• Pick and drop host kids off at school.
• Assist with homework and school projects.
• Cleaning the children’s room(s) and of course your own.
• Doing the children’s laundry
• Preparing meals for the kids (lunch/dinner)
• Take host kids to play dates and other appointments

Selecting your host family: You get to choose your host family. Our families are carefully screened to ensure you will be in a comfortable environment. Experienced representatives interview each family in person and asses the family’s suitability for the program. Once you completed your application it will be forwarded to our partnering agencies, which in return will circulate it to suitable families for a match. You receive phone calls directly from host families, so you will have an opportunity to learn more about the family before accepting their offer to join them as their Au Pair. This allows you to choose a family you feel comfortable with. We will let you know when you can expect a call from and interested family.
