Au pair Duties:

• Supervising and playing with the family’s children
• Preparing the children’s meals
• Mature, motivated, reliable, energetic and independent.
At least three references (+120 hours of childcare experience).
• Each reference relates to an experience of the past five years, where you are over 15 years old, and is not prepared by family or friends.
• Straightening the children’s rooms
• Doing the children’s laundry
• Assisting with homework and school projects
• Taking the children to and from school, daycare, appointments, and lessons.
• Light house work (washing dishes and vacuuming)
The Au pair program provides you with:
• Monthly pocket € 518.44 per month (value 2024?
• Support of a local representative for the duration of your year
• The host family pays half of the cost of a language course
• Flights can be negotiated with the host family
• Full board and lodging
• Au pair works 18 hours/week
• Visa Application assistance
• Airport welcome

REQUIREMENTS:

• You are between 18 and 27 years old
• You don’t have any children
• You are not married
• Clear criminal and medical record
• You have a basic knowledge of the German language (at least level A1) Level Up assist with the expedite
• Mature, motivated, reliable, energetic and independent.
At least three references (+200 hours of childcare experience).
• Each reference relates to an experience of the past five years, where you are over 15 years old, and is not prepared by family or friends.
• You can afford the trip to the host country
• You want to go to Austria for at least 6 months
• You have “NOT” been an Au pair in Austria in the last 5 years
• You want to get to know Austrian culture
• Driver’s license is not a requirement

Selecting your host family:

You get to choose your host family. Our families are carefully screened to ensure you will be in a comfortable environment. Experienced representatives interview each family in person and asses the family’s suitability for the program. Once you completed your application it will be forwarded to our partnering agencies, which in return will circulate it to suitable families for a match. You receive phone calls directly from host families, so you will have an opportunity to learn more about the family before accepting their offer to join them as their Au Pair. This allows you to choose a family you feel comfortable with. We will let you know when you can expect a call from and interested family.
